It works just fine. It’s setup for Verizon for phone service. I didn’t realize it was service specific.

The GPS I received is preloaded with maps of Australia and New Zealand, and no other regions. I live in the United States. I am unable to get the maps I need on this device -- Garmin said I have to contact the third party seller and exchange for a GPS programmed for my region. The alternative is purchasing a US map from Garmin which costs an additional $100. There is no indication on the product listing about it being a device for Australia. Customer service has not gotten back to me. I am very disappointed in this experience and will be returning the item.

I’m taking it to Spain next week for a two week driving vacation. I was able to purchase a Europe map card. I will put it to the test in a week.

Got to me much sooner than forecast. Perfectly serviceable, works as advertised and came with charging cable - wasn't mentioned in the ad. Will definitely shop here again.

Wanted a machine that will guide me to places simply by asking for it verbally to stay hands free. This has delivered well.

The Garmin Nuvi Drive 52 arrived in good condition and looked like new. Updated the maps/software and took it for a ride. Very easy to set up and use. Excellent customer service!
