    This is the second time in 3 years that an order of a Macbook Pro was not received in the advertised condition. This item was labeled 'Excellent' indicating no scratches or blemishes visible from 8". There were several clearly visible from much further and immediately during unwrapping. Battery was also fully discharged on arrival. Initial response from "customer service" puts the blame on this customer as "sorry to hear that item did not meet your expectations" when it did not even meet Back Market own advertised quality claim quoted here. Thorough quality control "Every item sold on Back Market goes through extensive quality screening by sellers. Back Market will also spot-check devices to make sure they meet the high standards of our Quality Charter. For example, every battery must be checked and tested to confirm that it reaches at least 85% of its initial charge capacity, meaning it has sufficient power for the long haul." Customer service abruptly stopped communication following request for compensation or return. I am returning this item and avoiding this seller. Reordering another equivalent from a different seller and exercising future caution when deciding where to shop for Apple products. Back Market leadership is advised to take a long look at their quality control and assurance processes and policies to remain compliant with their own advertisement.

    my son’s m1 max arrived swiftly to my address without any loss in transit or damage to the packaging itself. once he opened it up , we instantly discovered knicks and a decent dent that goes into the bezel. he later then also discovered laptop also had decals hiding other unknown damage. i paid extra for shipping on and for an EXCELLENT macbook pro. not a poor one. 1/10 experience.

    I ordered my computer in very good condition in hopes that it would not have any scratches, dents, or anything like that. There are two tiny “dead spots ” on the computer screen that are black and do not show anything. I noticed these as soon as I turned the computer on for the first time. They are small enough that I can still see everything I need to but they are noticeable. There is also a dent on the back of the computer and you can see sticker stains from where the previous owner had stickers on it. It definitely doesn’t look brand new. I am 85% satisfied, based on their descriptions of products in “very good” condition, I would’ve expected it to look brand new.
