Samsung S6: great audio and sharp display quality

The Samsung S6 boasts more megapixels than the S7 – 16 compared to 12, but the S7 is better at low light shows and autofocus. Both these smartphones have a 5.1-inch screen and 2560 x 1440 pixels, but the S7 has a sharper, brighter display. It also supports the ‘always on display feature’ so you can keep your favorite features on the front screen, like the date, time, or your most-used apps, without it using valuable battery life. While you may think you’ll never need it, the S7 shouldn't suffer any damage if it’s accidentally submerged in water for up to an hour. Handy to know if you drop your phone in the pool while on vacation! Performance of the S7 holds its own over the S6 as it has more RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Battery life also wins, with it holding a full day of use, compared to about 8 hours for the S6. The Samsung S7 also has a microSD slot which the S6 doesn't, so you can add storage if you need to. However, be wary of the original storage as in some areas only S7s with 32 GB are available, which easily gets used up.
