    It turns out this monitor is not totaly compatible with my Optiplex 990 running Linux Q4OS. The best resolution I can get is 1024x768, otherwise it has a good picture, and it looks to be in good condition.

    Never buying from BackMarket again. I was a loyal customer, as are my parents. But my two recent purchases have failed me and the customer service is the most unhelpful. My monitor was not working on arrival, noting "no connection to device". I assumed it was my connection cable, and have since ordered 3 different ones only to discover it is in fact a malfunctioning refurbished device. Is BackMarket going to help out their customer on their mistake? I wouldn't be writing this review if they did. Don't waste your money here, if you want to buy refurbished, buy from the brand itself! I have heard many stories recently of this happening to people.

    I bought this monitor in fair condition, and I am totally happy with that aspect. It has a scratch on the stand, and a few bigger ones on the screen. Pretty much what I expected. Although its fair condition, I do expect it to be working correctly. The included VGA display cable was useless because that port seems to not even work. Thankfully the HDMI cable that I had to go and buy works after being fiddled with a bit. And onto the main issue, I didn't even receive the monitor in the photo. It is a different model (or perhaps a different one entirely). I am still fine with what I got for the price, hence no returns, but it felt like false advertising. TLDR: I am fine with what I got, but the display port doesn't work even though that's the cable they included. I got a different monitor than the one advertised, and that was not specified anywhere. It works fine for now.
