Selectable temperature feature is great. For those who didn't read the included instructions: 1. To turn it on-hit the top button marked 212 F (the temp water boils at). This will turn kettle on, bring water to a boil, then immediately turn off. 2. Hit 212 F, then any of the 3 lower Temps. This will turn Kettle on, bring water to boil, hold water at 2nd temp for 30 minutes, then turn off. 3. To turn kettle off: hit 212 F again and all led lights and kettle will turn off. 4. Red led means temp selected, blue led means temp reached, no led means off.
