It's truly a shame some of the sellers on Back Market don't uphold the standards and level of merit I have become accustomed to receiving with previous purchases. That being said the seller uCell2us has made my most recent experience with Back Market a bitter one, and although the gentlemen helping assist via chat were nice, the team there needs to be more watchful when checking the condition of their devices. Buying refurbished can be a bit unnerving for the fear of receiving a broken/unusable item or for the fear of getting ripped off. I ordered a "good" condition Galaxy s10 Lite that was meant to be a birthday gift; it did arrive earlier than expected but that's where the good experience ends. The phone was physically dirty and had extensive water damage with blue corrosion all over the charging port. Long story short, 15 days later and still no phone; I was only recently contacted about a refund after having the birthday come and go without this gift. I still needed this specific phone as a gift so I reordered today with a different seller; I'm hoping for the best and that perhaps the teams at both Back Market & uCell2us see the severity of this issue and make strides to fix any such ccurence in the future.

The seller sent a broken phone with shattered back screen and hump in the middle. The phone was filthy as if they'd not checked it at all. I sent it back and over a week later have heard nothing from them. I had to contact BackMarket directly to get resolution. I would NOT buy from this seller. It's not bad enough they sent me a broken phone but then ghost me with no help at all afterwards. BackMarket should revoke their ability to sell on the site.
