Ordered a phone and they sent a lesser equipped model without telling me. Returned this unit expecting an exchange and without any communication they just refunded my money. They only informed me the unit I purchased was not available.

I was excited to use the back market platform as it appears to be an organized and polished marketplace for refurbished electronics. The good: the quality of the phone was GREAT! I could barely notice any imperfections on the device. Shipping speeds were reasonable. customer service and communication with back market was acceptable. The Bad: Back Market is only the host for numerous refurbishing partners. There was zero communication between myself and the refurbishing partners. There is no way to ask questions to the partners prior to making a purchase. I've read multiple reviews with similar scenarios where they received a different model phone other than the one listed and it doesn't seem like back market is doing anything about it. Partners list flagship phones and mail you an inferior model. As someone that is taking apart your future phone and reassemble it, I'd expect them to be accurate on the details of the phone they ship out to customers. Although back market refunded me in full, I really needed this device for a trip I had coming up and I had to go elsewhere to find it. Shop with caution!!!

Don’t order from them. I saw reviews that said they got the wrong phone and I was hopeful that it wouldn’t happen but I ordered the S10 5G and received the base model S10.
