If the machine was actually refurbished, you would think they would clean the pieces before putting it back together. The screen had a brown crust around the edge in 3 separate areas. The keyboard, trackpad, and the vents along the side of the keyboard have crumbs embedded in them. The track pack actually crunches when pressed. Besides how dirty the machine was, it does run beautifully. Very fast, and handles everything I throw at it with no problems. The touch screen is a game changer and the battery life is awesome. I will run 15 tabs open on top of 7 different instances of Cura slicing models in the background and it doesn’t even flinch. Shipping was a nightmare with UPS in my city but that’s not Backmarket or the sellers fault.

I ordered this Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 in “Excellent” condition, but it did not arrive as described. There are visible permanent marker stains on the palm rest where hands sit, which cannot be removed. Additionally, the edge of the screen is slightly detached, which are concerning about long-term durability. The laptop functions, but the condition is closer to Good/Fair, not Excellent. Disappointing for the price and listing.
