This was a new in box, sealed, Apple brand MagSafe charger. I received it via free shipping in 2 days. I saved a ton of money by not impetuously hopping over to the Apple Store. I am the smartest person on earth. Ok, I did go to the Apple Store a few days ago to see if the charger would work on my generic clear silicone case without the magic $60 MagSafe case. It did.
