This is my 5th purchase with backmarket and I have been impressed every turn. The switch came with everything I could have needed including the wrist clips for the joycons. I waited to review until I’d had time to see the hard/software for what it truly was being refurbished. Of course the body and controllers had a few noticeable scratches on them but it was all able to be polished up a bit. All in all another great purchase. Thank you backmarket for saving the tech!

Shipped fast & arrived in excellent condition! One puzzling thing: it unexpectedly came with a grip for the Joy-Con controllers, which is cool except there’s no port on it to connect the charging cable. I guess this was just a defect when it was made & it’ll still work if you want to use it as a controller grip only, but I must say I felt insane trying to figure out where & how it plugged in!) Otherwise, it was pretty easy to connect everything, set up a Switch account & I successfully downloaded Minecraft so it looks like it’s good to go. Since I got this as a Christmas gift for my young son, I didn’t think however about the fact that it wouldn’t come in a box, so I still have to think about how I can still give him that “wow” factor when he opens it, but yeah- I was already a fan of refurbished electronics and Back Market did not disappoint!

My shopping on Back Market was good, but not perfect. I bought 2 used Nintendo Switch sets, saving 1/3 off the price of new ones. The information provided was accurate. They appeared to be in good condition, but one was missing the charger, so I had to spend an extra $20. They were both anonymous gifts to charity, so I did not test them.

GREAT! I was nervous about getting it from here but didn’t want to pay full price when the new one is coming out soon. Only thing is the charger is got didn’t work with the DOCK. It charges the system itself, but i cant use the dock it came with, with the charger provided. This wasn’t a big deal for me as I had an official switch charger already.

The description didn’t say anything about what exactly was included. You get a switch, left and right joycons, the controller that you slot the joycons on, the little slides you put on the joycons to use them separately, a dock, a power adapter for the dock, and a USB-A to USB-C cable. My accessories came in pristine condition, with some still in the packaging. The switch and joycons, however, were a little worse for wear. The joysticks in the controllers are loose and rattle around, and the left joycon waggles forwards and backwards when slotted on the switch. I was a little surprised when both controllers worked fine when I started playing games. The switch itself came with a heavily scratched screen, both scratches all over the place and scratches from where the dock rubs against the screen. The screen itself has no defects and there are no dead zones in the digitizer. The buttons on the switch, the USB-C port, the game card reader and the SD card reader all work. There are also scratches all over the switch body, and one corner was chipped off, which didn’t really affect usability. The shipping timeframe and overall condition of the switch was good, I just was hoping that with purchasing a "very good" condition product, the internal battery was replaced in the refurbishing process knowing that they can lose their potency over time. The switch cannot operate off the dock for more than 1 hour without being charged, but I dont plan to travel with it, so it's not that big of a problem.
