Shocking how in excellent condition this laptop really was! First off, I love how they packaged it as it really did make me feel like it was safely packaged and sealed. It also came quicker than I expected, but I saw it came from the next state over. They did prioritize shipping it really quick! It looks like it’s almost brand new. The set up was easy to start using it and the screen is so vivid in its quality and the keyboard is also back lit when typed on. It also comes with a charger. Such a great deal on a really good laptop, which I discovered from work as they have a similar one they let me use but now I can enjoy my own for my personal use.

Kind of a mixed bag. The unit arrived as-described, if sloppily re-assembled. Hinges were loose and case was not properly reassembled. Booted and everything worked well, except the bluetooth which was intermittent and the fingerprint reader which may not have been properly connected. The *very good* news is this unit still had 6 months of Lenovo premiere support. I called Lenovo, trouble-shot it over the phone, then they sent a tech to my house the next day to completely replace the mainboard. While he was at it, the tech re-seated the fingerprint reader and and tightened all the screws, which he said were mostly loose. When he was done, the hinges were no longer loose, the unit was secure and felt great and the bluetooth issue was resolved. Ultimately, extremely happy for the price. I basically got Lenovo-new hardware internals for a third the price of a new Thinkpad. I'm unclear on whether that 6 months of Lenovo premiere support is a standard Back Market thing as part of their warranty support or whether I just got lucky and this unit had that support remaining from the original purchase. Sending the unit back for another questionably-reassambled-after-refurbish unit would have been a lot less satisfying than the Lenovo tech coming out and fixing and tuning up everything, so I'd want to be clear on that before recommending purchase.

This computer looks in excellent condition and it works as it should. All keyboard keys work. The battery may not be new but its in very good to excellent condition. I was going to install Linux on it but with the SSD I can't dual boot it. It runs Windows 11 so well and fast I hate to install Linux over it. For now. Came from NCL.

System worked fine. Had some black shining covering sticker on it to make it look new but wasn't bad. Removed the stickers from keyboard as it was blocking backlit light. Screen is perfect, CPU ram got more than I asked for. Good battery life about 5hrs video play.

The Thinkpad X1 Carbon was in great cosmetic shape. My only complaint is that the thing is a little wobbly. It collapses a couple of degrees before it maintains it's position. I have the same laptop for work so I know how it's supposed to feel. Everything else is as described.

Great Laptop for the price. Only con is the battery is not as efficient. Lasts about a couple hours and medium performance.

As an accounting business owner, this serves my purposes very well. Condition was excellent, packaged well & securely. very happy so far with the laptop!
