actually incredible! i was purposefully keeping my expectations mellow because i knew i only selected “good” not “excellent” but wow. absolutely beautiful condition and the most shocking part was the 100% battery life, usually refurbished phones are 70%-90% and that’s already really great for the price. im so so thankful, this made my christmas. my last phone was an iphone 8, so the upgrade in size alone is crazy cool. thank youuuu :”)

The phone was fine....very clean...no scratches...nice. However it was not compatible with the service that Back Market partnered with, AND offered a discount. You ever have a 15 year old girl with no phone, it was rough. Do better.

I have Verizon and the phone was supposedly locked to Verizon. But no, Verizon couldn’t do it; apparently the phone is locked TO A PERSON, not the carrier. This wasted more than just a few hours 😡 messing with this, borrowing someone else’s phone for multiple customer service calls to Verizon and Back Market, going to a physical Verizon store where they finally figured out someone probably hadn’t paid their phone bill so Verizon couldn’t do anything. Then having to wait for my $$$ refund until the vendor received the phone back via UPS during the Christmas delivery season! For Back Market’s part, it was good that they issue the return label and tracked it so it’s not left to the vendor. And administratively they did a good job. But if a Vendor can just get away with saying “it’s locked to Verizon” when it’s not, then my trust level dropped. All the BM customer support people were great!

The phone arrived on time and in good conditon. Condition good as advertised. When I pull up the receipt using the "Receipt" tab in my confirmation email I get a receipt for another customer in KY. for an iPhone. I bought a Pixel. Please rectify that. I also went to your Help page with the same result. GIGO. I also paid for the 24 month Coverage plan, and finally found the confirmation summary that shows the effective dates, a summary of the coverage, with instructions on how to seek warranty service. I also found the very legal T&C page written by lawyers, but I don't think I should have to go to your Help screen on the Website to find it. It should come to me as a separate email. You send a dozen emails after the order is placed, but not the service plan.. I know the insurance provider hopes I forget that I paid for the coverage, but I am determined not to let that happen. Finally, you should make it more clear that Backmarket is just a market site, with the goods actually provided by many different 3rd parties. Why should the customer pay for Quality assurance for $5.32. That should be part of the price, since it not optional. Thanks for taking action (If you do). Lew Crawford

ordered it in good condition and it came with at least 3 microscrates in the screen. The phone also came with the bootloader locked forever. It was carrier unlocked though. Would be nice if they noted that the phone came from carrier with boot loader locked. I needed a phone and don't have time to send it back. Definitely a bit disappointing that it didn't just come as described by the condition. Other than cosmetic issues, phone works as expected.
