We All Want a New MacBook, But at a Better Price
We all want a new MacBook, except we don’t want to shell out the big bucks. What’s the solution? Searching for the best Black Friday MacBook Deal on Back Market :D And the really cool thing about our website is that even when it isn't Black Friday or Cyber Monday, we promise to try our best and bring you just-as-awesome deals on refurbished MacBooks, we see this as our duty at Back Market :D
Why “Refurbished” is the Best Choice for Cyber Monday and Black Friday MacBook Deals
When you buy a refurbished MacBook from Back Market, you’re getting the same kind of warranties and guarantees that you’d expect from a new MacBook, but for a lot less money. Our deals are even better than official Apple refurbished deals :D
How Do I Find the Best MacBook Deal for Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
First off, think about your budget. Perhaps you can’t spend more than $500? Or maybe you’d be OK with spending $800? If you have a higher budget, you’ll be able to buy a newer MacBook (depending on the model, of course). But generally, you can get a pretty good MacBook if you spend between $500 and $800.
And to be honest, although these MacBooks are catered toward slightly different audiences, they’re all pretty similar, and you’ll want to go for whichever one gives you the best deal.
Should I Get a MacBook Retina this Black Friday?
So okay, remember when I said that all MacBooks are pretty similar? This one is just a little different because it’s thinner than the other two :D But yes, it offers good performance, but may not be quite as powerful as a MacBook Pro from the same year due to a different chipset inside. But this doesn’t mean it’s bad. But you may want to steer clear of this MacBook if you plan on producing a lot of videos or running other apps that use a lot of processing power. But for most people, the MacBook Retina would be a great choice for a budget MacBook. And yes, since it carries the name “Retina” you can be sure it will come with a nice Retina display, and that’s something you may not be getting if you’re looking for a MacBook Air from a few years ago (this series of MacBook only received the Retina display in 2018).
But the MacBook Retina is one of the sleekest looking MacBooks, and if you’re a fan of Apple’s butterfly keyboard, you should definitely consider taking advantage of a MacBook Retina Black Friday deal.
Is the MacBook Air the Best MacBook for You To Buy This Black Friday?
The MacBook Air, in my opinion, is the true workhorse of the MacBook line. It can excel at pretty much everything, and can last for so many years (this buying guide is being written on a 13-inch MacBook Air from 2014). So if you want to do a little bit of video editing, this computer can do it. A little bit of coding, this computer can do it. Traveling? This computer can do a lot of that thanks to its stellar battery life (I can get about 8 hours out of mine if I’m not running other apps in the background). This is the perfect computer for somebody who likes to work on-the-go and likes a laptop that’s light yet also has a fair size. The 13-inch variant is probably the best fit for most people. But please keep in mind that since this computer is the jack-of-all trades, it also isn’t the most powerful. The MacBook Pro is regarded as being the most powerful MacBook.
If You’re a Real Pro, You May Need a Black Friday MacBook Pro Deal
Ok, so if you’re a software developer or a film professional, you may want to consider a MacBook Pro. Do most people need a MacBook Pro? No, but this is a really nice computer. The MacBook Air will be enough for most users, but the Pro gives you extra in terms of performance if you really need it. But, unfortunately, the price will also be higher. The other big advantage of the MacBook Pro is that it received a Retina display option in 2012, so if you really want a MacBook with a Retina display, you’ll have a lot more offers to choose from on the refurbished marketplace when compared to the MacBook Air, which just got this feature in 2018.
Another Thing to Mention About Getting a Black Friday MacBook Deal
Once you know what MacBook model you want, pay attention to these three main factors to give you a better idea about the performance that you’re going to be getting from your device: model year, chip/processor, and RAM. These three will tell you just how speedy your MacBook will be. The newer your computer, the faster it will be. The better the chip, the faster your computer will be (popular MacBook processors ranked from lowest to highest power: Core i3, Core M, Core i5, Core i7). The more RAM in your laptop, the better it will be able to multi-task (except there’s no need to go overboard with this unless you really plan on doing a lot, 8GB should be enough for even the heavy user).
So summing this all up, get the newest MacBook with the best processor and ample RAM that will fit inside your budget!
The kind of guy that likes technology a little too much and can't stop talking about it. Good thing I work at Back Market :D
