Samsung 21 Plus or Samsung 21 Ultra? Are they that different? When it comes to choosing a new smartphone, there are several subtle differences between these models. Samsung S21 Plus: a premium device for Samsung lovers

More affordable than the Samsung S21 Ultra, but still positioned at a high price due to it being launched only recently in 2021, the S21 Plus is a high-end smartphone that will suit most people’s daily needs. If you’re a fan of the Samsung curved edge display, then the Ultra is for you, as the Plus has a flat screen. Turn the phones over and you’ll see another difference. The rear of the S21 Plus is made of ‘glasstic’ (plastic that looks like glass) while the Ultra has a more quality feel as it’s made of real glass. The S21 Plus boasts a triple-lens camera that takes good photos, but thanks to its quad lens camera and optical zoom the Ultra makes every selfie a good one, giving the user great quality photos.

In addition to its incredible camera (that takes great low-level light shots too) and its premium Gorilla Glass design, the Samsung 21 Ultra is the winner in terms of more memory (up to 512 GB) and overall design. If you need a large display, the Ultra sports a 6.8-inch screen, while the Plus is marginally smaller at 6.7-inches (however to be honest you don’t really notice this). Neither phone comes with a charger, which can be a downer for some people, but this seems to be the direction in which all the big phone manufacturers are going for environmental reasons. The battery life is better on the S21 Plus. However, one major benefit of the Ultra for people who like to make notes and be able to work on the go is the inclusion of the S Pen facility (although you do have to purchase it separately).  With a sharper resolution at 3200 x 1400 for the Ultra compared to 2400 x0 1080 for the Plus, the Ultra offers a better display experience, especially in bright light.

The Ultra is definitely the best choice for large phone users who want a high-end looking and feeling device. While the Plus is still a great option, the Ultra’s extra features make it the better phone in our opinion here at Back Market.
