This is my first One Plus phone. It isn't the worst phone. But it isn't the best. I think if I were younger, this would be an excellent starter phone. It's cheap, it works most of the time and the space is great. With a decent launcher, it becomes feasible. It DOES NOT have an eSIM. If you are used to an Galaxy android like I was or had an iPhone; which honestly doesn't really change, you'll find a lot of inconveniences (which are minor but they're noticeable) but if you work with this phone, they can be overlooked.
It's a phone that is pretty accommodating but compared to the newer phones, just less so. It's better than what you've paid for. It's money well-spent if you're giving your kids their first phone and you're not breaking the bank.
