I bought an iPhone 12 Pro Max. The seller ‘itsWorthMore’ had the best price for a Very Good quality phone. On arrival it looked like very good quality and no problems. Within a month the screen started clicking and coming undone from the framing. The top section also started coming unseparated. BackMarket usually has great customer service and I sent the phone back. Seller claimed it was out of warranty because it’s falling apart and sent it back, unrepaired. I had a local shop look at it- the lcd was not installed correctly. There was no adhesive or seal used. The seller or someone before them attempted to reglue the frame near the volume switch but the plastic was broken, it can’t be glued. The back glass was a metal aftermarket panel. I’m now stuck with a phone that I can’t keep in my pocket because it will likely come apart again due to the framing being previously broken and the phone poorly refurbished.

I first heard about Back Market from a YouTube video on what happens to trade in smart phones. I was absolutely blown away from that video and quickly took the web link down and stared surfing. I had an iPhone 10xr 64 gb and had long used up all of its local memory on apps alone because I use my phone at work to control a dozen or so networked interactions and also personal photos and videos as well. So since the coming of the iPhone 15 coming this fall I thought it was time to upgrade and since I’m not the kind of user who has to have the shinny new toy it just needs to serve my needs and do it fast and smoothly. To my surprise I came across a refurbished iPhone 12 Pro Max 250gb less than what I paid for the 10xr a few years ago and in excellent condition. The phone arrived in a few days (ordered on a Friday, arrived on Monday) took about an hour and half to transfer all data to the new/used phone. Oh by the way the condition is in deed excellent! There’s a super small hairline nick on the side and I’ve ordered a case for it anyway so it won’t even be seen. I’m very happy with the purchase and have been telling friends, family and colleagues about the site and several of them have purchased. Thank you Back Market!
