Battery came at 93% of capacity. Only 2 small nicks which are easily covered by a case. I'll be getting all my "new" phones from BackMarket in the future!

For some reason the one I received is very particular about the charging cable that you use. Some I tried work fine, most only work when you have it angled a certain way. I even tried with the one they provided with the phone, and, no dice. Also, it didn't really seem too different battery health wise in comparison to my 2 y/o 12 mini, which was nearing 70%, even though the percent stated a healthy 84% battery life. I know it was in "good" condition, though, so that is really just on me for not paying more for possibly better.

Battery only charged sporadically and then stopped working altogether on an international trip a couple weeks after purchase. Customer service told us to go back to using an old phone or borrow a phone from a friend rather than sending a replacement or giving us a provisional credit. In this day and age when cell phones are necessary that’s unacceptable.

We ordered a phone in good condition (screen should have no scratches). A screen protector was on it hiding the scratches. It had black edges and blended so well we couldn't tell there was a screen cover on the phone (I've ordered several phones over the years that never came with a screen cover on them). We transferred the sim from our old phone as an e-sim before we noticed the damaged screen. Then it was too late to transfer data back to our old iphone 8 because the sim was disabled. This is a replacement for my son. Now we have no option but to go without a phone to return this one. We were offered the cost of a new screen cover, or repair/replace, or refund. No guarantee of overnight shipping or holding the supplier responsible for not sending a phone in the condition we paid for. We were waiting to return the phone for a replacement we had to purchase separately. The replacement phone came and is in worse condition than this one was, even more scratches on the screen. I'm so disappointed in Back Market. Now we're back to step one with no resolution but to have my son go without a phone which is needed daily for communication re transportation.
