Phone arrived in good condition. I spent quite a bit of time updating it to iOS26 (required step), transferring all the data from my previous phone, transferring the Apple Watch connection, etc. One of the last steps was transferring the AT&T phone number from the previous phone to this phone. AT&T customer support informed me that this phone was reported as STOLEN, based on both IMEI numbers, so they could not transfer the number... meaning, this new phone is useless. I opened a complaint with Backmarket.com more than 36 hours ago, on a Thursday. No reply whatsoever. And their phone support has been unavailable "due to planned maintenance" for more than 24 hours now. There is no live chat feature for support that I can see. Very disappointing. Basically, if you have a serious issue, you are on your own.

So for the most part I’m happy w/ my phone I got it in excellent conditions it were no scratches or markings speakers work , I really have nothing bad to say they did send a charged not a fast charger but it’s still appreciated and lastly I received the phone w/ battery health 88% to me that’s okay because it is used and also has its original battery I didn’t get any messages for any foreign parts . there was a little scratch on the notch but it did come with a very high quality screen protector that was laid amazingly but other than the notch scratch i was pretty happy they battery health was upper nineties so i’m good with that and the activation was pretty easy and there is not a scratch anywhere else besides the notch so i’m super happy
