iPhone 7 128GB - Black - Unlocked

I like my iPhone 7. I was disappointed that it came with a bad battery. This is the 5th phone my husband and I have purchased through Back Market and the first to have problems. I got a new battery put in at the local repair store but it cost an extra $60 on top of my new phone cost.

I am replacing a misplaced or lost iPhone. The one I purchased through Back Market does not work on my carrier, XFinity's network. Their representative said, this iPhone either could have been issued by a noncompatible carrier or Xfinity is no longer accepting iPhone 7's as they no longer accept iPhone 6's and was told fairly recently xFinity would soon no longer be accepting iPhone 7's. I explained that I'm 79 years old and don't need a new cell phone...just a cell phone to last me until I go on to glory. The representative said I could try an iPhone 8 or get one newer. My daughter located an iPhone 8 which did work with xFinity. So, I need to return this iPhone I purchased from your website.

Body looks good but One of the phones battery is not charging well or staying charged. It’s dying very fast and when I checked the battery it said that the battery needs service. I would like to return and get the one I chose as “excellent “.

So far, Apples disgusting battery management idiocy has not gone away, and you cannot fault Backmarket or the refurbisher for that in any way. The phone is great, excellent value, very happy with everyone but Apple. Somewhere on their site, BackMarket has a brief explanation of the situation, or for a lot more detail, search for info on the iFixit site.

I have no complaint about the price of the phone I received and I expected since it was a older phone that the battery would not hold a great charge like it was new. What I didn’t expect was the phone to discharge the battery in a few hours of use. The only way I can use it for long periods is to have it plugged into a portable external battery which is very inconvenient. If I use Back market in the future I will definitely pay extra for a new battery or possibly just go buy something new.
