This is my second purchase of a MacBook. My first computer was AMAZING! It was a 2013, ran great, accomplished everything I needed it to. My first was damaged (a water accident not relative to the purchase) and I bought this one as a replacement. I purchased my first in fair condition and this one in good. I figured it would be about the same experience just this computer being one year newer and fewer, minor cosmetic flaws. The shipping was extremely fast and it actually arrived a day before it was suppose to. However, when this one arrived it seems it was just taken in and sent right back out. It needed SEVERAL software updates, would not perform the updates at first, and ran extremely slow. It also was very dirty. The charger was covered in stickiness, dust and even had something that looked like food crumbs on it! 🤢 The computer had some of the filth as well but not as bad. I requested help with just figuring out how to get the updates to come through. The support was okay. It was a bit of information overload as well as lots of info on how to just send it back. I finally got almost all the updates to complete and that has helped.
