    I purchased this device for a coding class, and for it being my first MacBook I adore it! I was a little disappointed that my MacBook wasn't in as good condition aesthetically as other buyers. Lucky people bought a fair condition MacBook from this seller and had zero scratches. Mine has at least 11 that are fairly deep so, while it's fair for the price it just sucks. I was concerned about the faulty keyboard in this series, but so far so good. The tough part is finding a proper protective case. A quality one for such an unpopular model is hard to come by. I recommend buying a keyboard cover to prevent dust from potentially ruining the butterfly keyboard. It ran hot and loud during set up, it doesn't handle FaceTime simultaneously with other apps very well, which is to be somewhat expected for its specs. When I began to install a screen protector, I also noticed an odd spec on the display while it was off. It was a greyish-white dot that seemed to be under the surface, seeing as though it would not wipe away. I do not notice it when the device is on.
