Which Refurbished Audio Product is Better?

Well, it all really depends on what kind of person you are and how you plan on using either of these products. Let’s find out which type of refurbished headphones are better for you.

Refurbished Headphones vs. Earphones/Earbuds

Earphones, also known as in-ear headphones or earbuds, are some of our favorite products here at Back Market. Do you know why? Because they offer awesome sound quality in a compact form. How do they do it? We don’t really know, we’re not sound engineers, but we do know one thing: there is no clear winner when it comes to comparing headphones to earphones. It really is a matter of preference. They’re both really awesome products with unique pros and cons.

Battery Life vs. Compact Size

The only areas in which earphones and headphones are vastly different are size and battery life (if we’re talking about bluetooth models). In-ear headphones and earphones can fit right in your pocket and often come with a nice little case that even charges them if they’re bluetooth. And, surprisingly, their smaller size doesn’t need to mean a sacrifice in sound quality. If you get a premium pair of refurbished in-ear headphones from a brand like Sennheiser or Sony, you will not be disappointed with the groovy performance. Matter of fact, you’ll probably be blown away that such a small pair of refurbished earphones will be giving you such an amazing experience. However, if battery life is the most important factor to you, you should probably get a pair of over-ear or on-ear bluetooth headphones. While in-ear bluetooth headphones will probably give you around 3-6 hours of play time depending on the model, you can expect much more from full over-ear or on-ear bluetooth headphones--maybe even upwards of 15-20 hours(!) In-ear bluetooth headphones won’t last you all day, on-ear and over-ear headphones will.

Refurbished Headphones and Battery Life

Just because Back Market’s headphones are refurbished does not mean they will give you less battery life. All our products have been thoroughly tested for defective or worn-out batteries, which have been replaced if necessary.
