    Honestly, first time using Backmarket. Already out the box; this phone was in better quality then amazons “premium” refurbished phone. I received a iPhone 12 Pro pacific blue. With dents on the front and a non original screen. The phone I got from back market is absolutely beautiful and better than the Amazon one I received. Although; 2 things to note. That the battery was definitely worse. The one I got from backmarket is at 81% while the one I got from amazing was at 92% One side thing I did notice even though I bought this phone at excellent quality the screen has some minor scratches which I’m not too particularly pleased about. Although, it does have Apple OEM parts. So I can’t really be too worried about it. Been using it for a few days and it’s been solid.

    I bought my first refurbished IPhone with Backmarket in 2019 - an IPhone 7. I got it in the "excellent" condition and it was excellent for 5 years! I loved my IPhone 7 and the only reason I gave it up was because the IOS would only go to 14 and some of my needed apps did not support IOS 14 anymore. So with a great deal of research, including articles on BackMarket, I decided on an IPhone 13, again in "excellent" condition, trading in my old Iphone 7. Trade-in super easy - was given a trade-in price within seconds, free shipping, constant communication, and $ within my bank account all within a week. As for my IPhone 13 - Apple has made copying from old phone to new phone a breeze (not like the old days with needing to backup and copy from ICloud). The Iphone 13 came well packaged and yes, in excellent condition. Beautiful phone. I highly recommend BackMarket to anyone looking at getting a "new" phone. Website so easy to navigate, great customer service and clear communication, AND most important, doing something nice for our cherished planet.

    I needed a new phone but I didn’t want to buy new just because they’re so expensive. My friend recommended this site and I had bought my last phone refurbished so I decided to buy another one off this website. I bought a used pink iPhone 13 in excellent condition. The phone looks and works great, however the screen is not in the condition I thought I was paying for. At the top there is an imperfection underneath the screen where it looks like the screen has been impacted. There are small bits of blue, green, and black right at the top that resemble the screen of a phone that has been busted. It’s not a big deal and doesn’t affect the use of the phone, just slightly annoying. Other than this I am thrilled with my phone.

    I don’t usually leave reviews but this time I’m compelled to write one. It’s my first time using backmarket to purchase a refurbished phone for my Mom as a xmas gift. I opted for the excellent condition. Honestly, I was thinking twice to make a purchase thru backmarket because of the mixed reviews that I’ve extensively read, especially the words “brittle screen display” “non-genuine parts installed” such and such.     I ordered the Back Market iPhone 12 (64GB - Green, Locked to AT&T) for my 9-year-old, and while the phone itself works fine, I was disappointed with the condition upon arrival. The phone arrived a day later than expected, which wasn’t a huge issue, but the real concern was how dirty it was. I understand this is a refurbished device, but I expected it to be properly cleaned before resale—especially after upgrading to the "Excellent" condition tier. Before even taking it out of the plastic bag, I could see visible dirt and crust on the device, which was appalling given the current focus on hygiene. For a company that sells pre-owned devices, basic cleanliness should be a priority. I would have rated higher if the phone had arrived as expected and in a sanitary condition. If you order from Back Market, be prepared to clean your device yourself before use.
