I ordered a iPhone 13 Pro in excellent condition. I was very pleased when I received the phone as it looked like a new phone with no visible indications of use except some very small marks around the outside of the screen which I was not concerned about due to that are being covered by the case. It also had 89% battery life which was great to see on a refurbished phone. The shipping from the provider was very fast and it came packaged very securely to prevent damage. I had set up the phone installed the case and was attempting to install the glass screen protector. After two attempts with different screen protectors I determined that the screen was not fully flat, middle higher than the edges, but not visible to naked eye. The screen protector would not adhere properly due to this. I was very disappointed because up to that point I was loving the phone and experience with the refurbished product. I decided to return the phone and I have nothing but praise for how Back Market handled the return process. In the past I always bought new phones because I didn’t have real trust in refurbished phones. But as my son had a great experience with Backmarket, I thought I should go with them this time.
I bought a phone advertised as being in “very good condition” and I have to say I‘ve been totally happy with everything so far: their service, shipping, and the phone!
The reason why I don’t want to give a five star rating is, that I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t come with a new battery, though. The battery is still good at over 80%, but at a price of $600 for an iPhone 13 Pro, I definitely had hopped it would come with a new battery!
But apart from that I really can recommend Backmarket and their products.

Overall fairly pleased with my iPhone 13 Pro with one exception. Pleased with back market and the service.
I bought a “fair” condition phone, as cosmetics of the case are not too important to me; I put it in a case anyway.
It was my impression that regardless of cosmetic grading, the phone internals are supposed to be fully up to snuff.
My phone alerts me that it cannot verify if the camera is a genuine part. Not the end of the world. The cameras work well — except the telephoto camera has a couple of small smudges indicative of dirt on the CCD sensor. This can only be seen on a uniform background, like a clear blue sky or a white wall. I doubt most would ever notice, but as a photographer, I see it. It’s not a deal breaker, but a slight annoyance.
My guess is that this phone’s camera was refurbished or replaced. I don’t know if it was replaced with an aftermarket part or not. Maybe. It works.

This is my second phone purchase from BackMarket. (I plan to get a computer from them soon as well). My last purchase was an iphone 8 64 gigs, in 2021. I've significantly updgraded to an Iphone 13 Pro with a lot more storage! Lack of storage was the reason I really needed to get a new phone... 64 was never going to cut it for me, I should have gotten at least 128 then. (Lesson learned). But, I will say that it is such a treat to have a high functioning camera (I've never had one!) It's so cool to have (if you actually use the features). Anyway, in terms of this purchase, I am super happy once again. I chose the "good" option with standard battery. Battery arrived with 94% capacity which I'm very happy about. The body is just fine with a small scratch, which I never care about because I put an otterbox case on all of my phones. I just want a working phone with a perfect screen and I always get that from BackMarket. I love this refurbished website more than the other ones I've looked at. BM is the only one I've actually used and when I looked at some other sites recently I understood why I keep choosing Back Market... their warranty and website are top notch. Super happy!
