The device was exactly as described in premium condition, it looks absolutely brand new. The only possible areas of concern for me, and the reason for the 4-star rating, were that the battery was completely dead when it arrived and took a few minutes on the charger before it would even display a low battery icon. This isn't a great thing for long-term storage, it would've been better to see it around 20 to 30%, and that level is also safe for transport. When I turned it on I found that it was indeed fully unlocked, no problem there. Looking at the battery health and cycle count I saw why it looked brand new, it displayed....one charge cycle. According to the phone itself it was built in January 2025, and it had one charge cycle on the original battery. And it arrived completely discharged. This tells me that 1. I am the first user of this device, and 2. While this particular seller verified the cosmetic condition and possibly the network status, they likely didn't do much else. Now having said that, the phone works flawlessly and the battery health is sitting at 100% despite the period of disuse, so I am satisfied with my purchase. Honestly, this is more of a nitpick but it could've arrived in better packaging as well, it was only wrapped in some cellophane. Again, it's in brand new condition so it was obviously sufficient to prevent damage during transport, but for the price it would've been nice to at least see it in a box. Not saying I'd never consider them again, but I'd be just a little cautious of this particular refurbisher in the future.
