This older model Apple MacBook Pro 2012 has worked with me through nursing school, so I would say it’s great. Some time it takes 10-15 minutes to come on when you don’t shit it down in a couple of days and it dies. It didn’t have a great camera so i really didn’t use it. If my phone would ring , it would also ring on my computer but would not stop until 7-10 mins later. So it has its pros and cons. After doing some more research online I came to the conclusion that I overpaid for this Macbook Pro.I should have looked around more before purchasing this specific laptop. I should have paid at least $50-$80 less than what I paid. I ended spending some more money to upgrade this MBP to its max potential.I upgraded the RAM to 16GB, and switched out the HDD to a 2TB SSD..total cost of upgrades was about $100.
