This is the first time I ordered from Back Market and the seller IT Supply Guy. It was a very good buying experience for me. The device I ordered shipped in a very timely matter with some tracking. I was charged for what it was listed for on the site. I expected it to be just an okay physical condition device to arrive to me. Instead my expectation was replaced by what looked to be an excellent physical shape (like a brand new laptop and charger). Not even a scuff mark or any wear or tear! It arrived in a good cardboard box and had decent shipping material protecting it. A new out of the box OS was loaded on the laptop and it was ready for me to start setting it up (like you would from a store). I ran tests on the hardware using the internal diagnostic tools from Dell and a couple of 3rd party programs I installed. Everything checked out in excellent shape (including the battery). I’ve had this laptop for three weeks now at least and have used it almost every single day. Everything is running smoothly and as expected. I had a question about the charge on my card and the customer service at Back Market was very prompt and replied back to me. My question I had was answered very happily by them and throughly satisfactory. Everything they said checked out perfectly with my bank. I would purchase another device from Back Market and this seller again based on my experience from this transaction.

I wanted to wait at least a month of having this laptop, so I can give an accurate review. Here it goes: Almost everything is pretty good with this laptop, especially with it being refurbished, and in Fair condition. The funny thing is, fair condition is supposed to be the worst (cosmetically, at least), but it looks new, no scratches, or obvious signs of wear and tear. As far as shipping, I ordered it on Friday, and it came on Tuesday, so I guess that’s around 3 business days? Or something lol. That’s fast for me, wasn’t expecting it sooner than a week, and that was with free shipping too, so I’m satisfied on that part. It has 16 GB of RAM, so for most basic things, it does well. I have a lot of tabs open, probably at least 50 on 4 different windows, and I never suffer from lag, random tab closings; matter of fact, everything is smooth, even YouTube in the background while I handle productivity tasks. I occasionally do run this multiplayer game from my childhood on it, and it handles well for that as well. Only thing is, I can’t play the game on Battery Saver and expect decent performance, which actually brings me to my next topic… So, the only thing that kinda sucks, is the battery life, which is pretty average I guess. With Battery Saver on, if you’re running light tasks that won’t drain battery (pretty much anything besides gaming and streaming high quality videos/music), then I think for the most part, it’s okay. When I do my occasional gaming though, I have to leave it charged, and after a while the laptop will get warm. Oh well. Better than blazing hot, hehehe. So yeah, all in all, for saving hundreds, at least $100+ buying it refurbished (in Fair condition, I paid like $440 including taxes and fees), I think I got an effing steal. 16 GBs of RAM, 512 GB of storage, decent size, can handle a lot of tasks, and the only minor inconvenience is the battery life. On a scale of 1-10, I’d give this laptop purchase an 8, or a 7.5 at the very least. I think I would even recommend it, especially for students, business/productivity people, and average laptop users. *Edited A Few Hours Later* So when giving my two cents on the lack of extensive battery life, I’ve just now come to realize something I neglected to mention. Most of the time, my brightness isn’t adjusted, so it’s at the maximum level; that is most likely why I suffer from said battery problem lol. If you’re more conservative with brightness, and maintaining things that drain the battery, then the battery really isn’t a problem. Doesn’t change my review much though, except I’d give this a solid 8 outta 10. Thanks, BackMarket

The quality of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is better than I expected, no visible wear or blemishes. The laptop is great, I have been using a Microsoft Surface as my travel laptop, but I wanted something with a real feel keyboard and larger screen so I purchased this refurb on BackMarket, I am very impressed with this item, its a full laptop and it's almost as thin as my surface, I can actually see the display without wearing glasses and it looks and feels great. Battery has good long life. It was listed as "Fair" condition but it seems almost new to me. The refurbisher is "Akooba" and I will definitely recommend and use BackMarket again. Great value, speedy delivery

Really happy with my laptop. I wanted to give it a couple weeks of use before I gave my review and so far everything is as expected. I took a risk and purchased a "fair" quality laptop and it is in great shape in my opinion. The keyboard/touchpad is a little sensitive and some buttons are harder to click but for the price. I ran a battery health check and it was at 90% so I can't complain. Overall happy with my purchase and will be purchasing from here again!

Perfect cosmetics, as good as brand new (no scratches or wear and tear. Even the ports are super clean). Specs: The specs mentioned on the website are not totally accurate. The laptop I received was even better than what was mentioned (e.g. I had Bluetooth, backlit keyboard, etc.). Finally, I must say that the keyboard quality was amazing. Good battery life (about 4 hours of heavy use and 10 hours of light use). Problems: None so far.

I received an excellent laptop. I'm very happy with my order, overall. Fast delivery. Cosmetics: I purchased a “good” quality and received a perfect laptop cosmetically. It pretty much looked like a new one (no scratches or wear and tear). The only way I could have known it’s used is by checking inside the ports, where they were a little dirty but totally ok. Specs: The specs mentioned on the website are not totally accurate. The laptop I received was even better than what was mentioned (e.g. I had Bluetooth, NVIDIA Quadro P520, etc.). Finally, I must say that the keyboard quality was amazing. Problems: The only downside was a shorter battery life (about 3.5 hours), and webcam not working (contacted the support team to deal with the issue)
