I am an apple employee, so I knew way ahead of time that these iPads would not be able to update to the latest software. For about 2 weeks, I debated on if I would order the mini 2, mini 3 or the mini 4. I was sold on the mini 4, but I also had to purchase 3 total, including screen protectors and cases. As you can imagine, that would get very pricey. These were gifts to my children. They are all under 6, so I was not willing to spend much money on something that had high chances of being damaged. That also would make it easy on my pockets to replace if I needed too, thus I settled on the mini 2 in good condition. I think it was $70 for each one. Now, I know I am rambling but please read this review in its entirety if you are on the fence about these. MAKE THE PURCHASE! I am not being paid for this review. These iPads arrived about a week early. I was not super impressed with the packaging. There was minimal support to ensure they did not get damaged. There was like a sheet of crushed brown paper, so I count my blessings that nothing happened in transport. The quality of this ipad is like-new even though it was listed as “very good,” i’ve had it since august and it’s worked perfectly since we opened the box. i got this as a birthday gift for my daughter, and she really loves it. the price really can’t be beat, and i enjoyed the results of my first purchase so much that i also just ordered an apple watch from back market for myself. it comes tomorrow & i’m so excited, definitely don’t hesitate to purchase from back market. i’m going to be purchasing all my electronics from here from now on. the quality of the products + the refurbished pricing again, just can’t be beat.

The only minor thing is that there were scratches on the back of the iPad. Other than that, the screen is in the most amazing condition and this has been a life-changing tool for school. This review is coming 6 months later because I was worried something would go wrong but it never has, in total I spent a little less than $700 on Back Market for this iPad and the pencil which is probably 1/2 what I would spend on Apple for a new or refurbished one. If you're considering getting something from here, take my word for it you will be so surprised (in a good way) by the quick and reliable service. I am literally considering buying all of my electronics from here going forward, not enough nice things to say!
