Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is at first glance, the one from the series that seems less interesting, but it could also be the best if you are looking for resistance.
The Galaxy S4 Active is a rugged IP67 certified terminal. This means that it is completely protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to one meter deep. The design has been adjusted to improve strength, it is slightly thicker (9.1 mm compared to 7.9 mm of the Samsung Galaxy S4) and 23 grams heavier, but still feels comfortable in the hand.
No changes were made in resolution for the Samsung Galaxy 4 Active : Full HD 1.920 x 1080 with a density of 441 dpi protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, to avoid scratches and possible scratches.
The sensor changes from 13 megapixels to 8 mpx and the aperture from f2.2 to f2.6. The lens also changes, now is 3.7 mm (equivalent to 28 mm) compared to 4.2 mm (32 mm). It's a good camera and one thing on its favor and it does not have delays when shooting pictures.
When analyzing the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, the first thing you notice is that the technical hardware features remain the same: 1.9 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM, 2600 mAh battery and so on. It could be said that it is more beautiful (depending on one's taste, of course) but it is for sure more resistant, the differences in the camera are insignificant if you're not too fussy with megapixels.
Water resistance is a trend that seems unstoppable, as we are all tired of going to technical service and the famous blue blinker has turned red and we have lost our guarantee for 'introduction of liquids'.
