I just replaced a phone I bought from Back Market in 2019. The first phone is still good but it's battery is winding down. My son and I both have MacBooks from Back Market. My boyfriend and I each have an iPad from Back Market, and three of my family in England have phones from Back Market.co.uk on recommendation from me. This new phone was described as fair because there's a tiny scratch on the screen, which is barely noticeable and a tiny bit of the black on the frame is worn away; again, barely noticeable, and actually not noticeable inside a phone case with a screen cover. I recommend Back Market to all my friends. Saving my money and saving the environment, one device at a time!

In this case, calling it in "Fair" condition appears to mean that they had replaced the screen. In so doing there is a half-circle filled black in the upper left side of the screen. In most cases it remains invisible when the background is also black. On a light colored background you see it but rarely is there any live text or graphic that is cut visibly by this screen issue. T-Mobile would have given me an S-23 FE for slightly more money than this one which is two steps below the S-23+ so I guess it remains a decent deal.

ordered a green phone, sent a black phone. customer service said it was because they didn't have a green in stock. this is the second time this has happened to me. would not recommend this service to anyone.
