Great Deal! I never thought about buying used-but this isn't the same as used. The phone was completely refurbished and even came with a screen protector. I'm more than happy with the deal. They offered less than I expected for my trade but it's better than sticking it in the drawer with the rest of my old phone

This is the second purchase I've made from Backmarket and the second time I've been impressed with how well they refurbish their products. I wanted to wait a while to make this review, and I've honestly had no problems. I can't wait to buy from them again. I've gotten the same product on here twice (there was nothing wrong with the first one, it just lost a fight with a motorized reclining chair), both times have been amazing. I received the phone more or less on time (took an extra day for the second one, but the weather was kinda shit), both phones arrived in great condition, they work wonderfully, you would never know they were refurbished, got them both under $600 too

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G as a refurbished unit, and overall, I’m quite pleased with my choice. Here are my thoughts:
Design and Form Factor (5/5 stars): The foldable design is a game-changer. It’s compact when folded and opens up to a decent-sized screen. The Mystic Gray color looks sleek and modern.
Performance (4/5 stars): The phone handles most tasks smoothly. Apps open quickly, and multitasking is a breeze. However, there were a few instances where it felt a tad sluggish, especially when loading heavy web pages.
Camera (4/5 stars): The 12-megapixel camera captures good photos in well-lit conditions. The Flex Mode is a neat feature for hands-free selfies and video calls. However, low-light performance could be better.
Battery Life (3.5/5 stars): The battery life is decent but not exceptional. It gets me through a full day with moderate usage, but heavy users might need a top-up. Charging speed is impressive, though.
Display (5/5 stars): The 6.7-inch AMOLED display is vibrant and sharp. Watching videos and browsing feels immersive. No complaints here!

I ordered from the Excellent category, which is what my order receipt states. As I leave this review, the condition is listed as 'Very good' above the review text box. I would say that's a discrepancy in the details.
This shipped fast, I had it within a week. Shipping packaging was great. It felt pretty safe and sound in the box.
There was about a 50% charge on the phone, a usb-c to usb cable, a usb charger with it, and a quick start guide.
The body of the phone has more nicks/scratches than I anticipated, and there's some kind of sticky adhesive along some seams (possibly from a repair..) Since this is a gift, I will be adding a phone case to it to hide the visible wear, which I suspect the recipient will be none the wiser.
The screens don't appear to have any scratches. There is a visible bend in the screen where the phone folds, which isn't visible when the screen is on and looking straight at it unless there's a bright light that reflects off of it.
The phone turned on and booted as expected. I didn't see any cracks in the screens. The screens are responsive and working as expected. The front and back cameras are working with no visible defects on the pictures.
