    Honestly, I couldn't be happier! I use Macs for my career but was always a PC user 'offline' because I couldn't justify two mortgage payments on...anything. In recent years I've become more conscious of tech and large appliance waste and have done my best to seek out refurbished options whenever I can. Which led me to BackMarket and WOW. On a whim, I put in the exact specs from the MacBook my client provides (which was less that 2 y/o) and couldn't believe my eyes! I was sure I would have to make concessions to stay under my price point and not only did I get the exact specs, but I also came in about $200 under my limit! The condition of my "new" MacBook was *chef's kiss* Perfecto! Seriously, I can't tell that it was ever used! The reviews and kudos are real!

    Im entering a a carreer transition into cybersecurity. As some of you know some programs are not compatible yet with silicon macs. Not sure if those issues will get resolved soon but that is why I opted for this specific mac with these specs. So far its working great, physically looks damn near new. It was a steal in my book, considering my first and last mac I bought was the late 2015 MacBook pro and I paid over $3,000 for it. This 2019 new was $3,500+. Will definitely buy my next macbook (hopefully an M3) on backmarket

    Honest feedback: - The physical quality is much higher than I anticipated. No screen scratches that I can tell, and only a small blemish on the case on the left side, where it looks like someone bumped the metal case. It's not very noticable unless you are looking for it. - It was not cleaned very well. Screen looked like someone had wiped it with something, but it was all smeared. Same for keyboard/case. 5min of elbow grease and it was clean as new. - There are better ways to provide the laptop OS on a mac than to send it w/ a user already created. You can literally Cmd-R into "Recovery Mode", delete the partition in Disk Utility and then re-run the install fresh. Much better to provide it to people in "I'm a brand-new Mac!" mode that to provide it "wiped" but already through the initial setup steps. I had planned to do that process myself anyway, because I am paranoid and don't trust people, but if someone inexperienced like my wife had gotten this laptop it would have been a much nicer experience for them. All-in-all it was a great purchase. The laptop is a beast with 64gb ram. All hardware checks passed, and I have been using it extensively since I took ownership.

    So far it’s a very good experience. The rest appears to be me learning about navigating the Mac. Aside from that, it’s here. It’s in very good condition and I haven’t found any defects with a week in. So Thank you backmarket for making me a Mac owner of a computer that is spected to the rim.
