Looked up online and this laptop was available within the same range for used and higher price at reputable stores. I’ll probably buy one for my brother too.     The laptop is exactly as advertised. It works well, and looks and feels brand new. I have three small complaints, one of which is mostly my fault. 1. I apparently didn't do enough research on the laptop. the specs looked great (plenty of storage, ram, a good CPU, and a high clock speed) but the GPU is kind of lacking. 2. The laptop seems to have some security software and features intended for a corporate work laptop. I don't think these features are stock from HP, but i could be wrong. None of these have gotten in the way of anything thankfully. 3. The mic doesn't work! i'm fairly sure its a driver issue tho.

    This computer is great! It’s doing very well with all of my needs between work, school, and gaming. The trackpad is very sensitive, though, and every once in a while, it will select whatever the cursor is hovering over even if I haven’t clicked. Aside from that, I’m extremely satisfied with this and would recommend it to anybody!

    Great product, arrived on time, well packaged and better condition than expected. It took some time to move files etc from my old machine over but now i have a laptop that is "frisky" again, no more turning on the machine and then off to have a coffee before it all boots up and we are ready for action. Very pleased with the purchase, this is my 4th re-furbished order from Backmarket and all have met/exceeded my expectations.

    this HP laptop is perfect for what I needed for. high quality great graphics pretty easy to use and set up. since it's new with technology I did call in someone who has more experience with setup to help me get going. otherwise it's a great computer for a great price. it has more capacity than I could use in three lifetimes. it's just a really good value and I would highly recommend it to anyone who can get their hands on one.

    So far so good. I would give it a 5 star if it wasn’t for the wrong charger that was sent to me. This HP surface uses a C type of charger and I was given a barrel jack type of port and there’s no where to put that. There’s an audio jack but no ports for that type of charger. With that said I found myself in a tricky situation at work, while the laptop was dead, I had to borrow a charger from a co-workers. Thankfully all the new laptops nowadays have the same port!

    I was skeptical, but after looking into Backmarket, there seemed to be only positive reviews. My brother got a Mac at the fraction of the original price with only a broken speaker, which he does not use anyways, and I got an HP Elitebook which has been a blessing in my life at a price I could actually afford!
